Manoj Berry spent 15 years in Advertising, playing strategic roles at two of the biggest companies in the domain – JWT and Y&R (A JV partner of Dentsu and Rediffusion in India).
At JWT India, brands he helped grow include Brook Bond teas, Kwality ice creams (All part of Unilever plc) , Horlicks and Boost milk drinks (GSK), Chesebrough Pond’s cosmetics, Citibank (Retail banking), Ford (tractors), Yamaha and Hero Honda (motorcycles) and Maruti-Suzuki (cars).
At Y&R India he helped steer the entry of KFC, AT&T into the Indian subcontinent, and the repositioning of Lufthansa in India and S.E Asia.
During these 15 years Manoj learnt what advertising can, and more importantly, cannot do.
To bridge the gap, he founded Embrand in 1996.
